t3n opts-in for programmatic email advertising by Passendo
t3n – the magazine for the digital economy is among the first publishers in Germany pioneering the use of programmatic email advertising for its digital marketing.
Copenhagen, 13th March 2019,
Passendo, the Danish Adtech firm specialising in solutions for Programmatic Email Advertising (PEA), has begun a technological partnership with one of Germany’s leading B2B mediums covering the digital economy, t3n. Passendo’s technology generates revenue from native ads served into email newsletters and is based on machine learning driven optimisation. The technology brings all the benefits of cookies to the highly engaged environment which is email and bring email advertising into the 21st century. These “Digital Pioneers” from t3n recognised the potential of said technology and are now taking the marketing of their already successful newsletter offering to the next level. t3n goes live in May, with several other publishers who are currently still in the testing phase, following closely.
“It’s great to have t3n magazine, part of Yeebase Media as one of our first publishers in Germany”, says Anders Rasmussen, CCO of Passendo. “Fortunately, the team from this technology-savvy media company have been thrilled with our technology right from the start, and we’re now quite proud that Passendo will soon be an active part of t3n’s new digital strategy.”
Hagen Pfennigstorf, Director of Media Sales at t3n, conveyed; “With
over 100,000 subscribers in the B2B sector, t3n’s newsletter offering is from
both an editorial and marketing point of view one of our most important
channels. By segmenting our offer, we provide our reader’s the opportunity to
personalise the experiences with our editorial content. Thanks to this
innovative solution by Passendo, we can further scale and offer our advertising
partners even greater added value”.
t3n is among the few magazines in Germany, which has been growing steadily for almost 15 years. The recipe for success? High quality and relevant content, a sophisticated digital marketing strategy and a extensive and loyal community base.
In November 2018, Passendo was awarded the 2018 Native Advertising Award for its digital native awareness campaign for Opel Denmark. Today, Passendo has an extensive publisher network, working with the likes of Egmont, Bonnier and De Persgroep, now with yeebase media being one of the first to join the growing German network.
