The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is already here. Fans have been waiting for months for its release. Now is the moment to seriously consider what upgrade is the best, the new Samsung series or the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is already a few months old.

Best Deals

It doesn’t matter which phone you end up going for. The best deals will always be those given by carriers and third-party sellers. If you’re afraid of ending up with a carrier’s locked phone, don’t be.

The best workaround is to unlock your device after having enjoyed some amazing discount by your local carrier of choice. There are many sites offering this service. Just keep an eye out for those asking for too much of your personal data. A legitimate phone unlocking website will only request your IMEI.

The most trustworthy website we have used is iPhoneIMEI, and it can unlock any brand or carrier. But, always do your homework and choose the one who fits your budget and circumstances the best.

Design

The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the iPhone 12 Pro Max have been stylized to look like a million bucks. Both devices make good use of their features.

The Galaxy S21 has some changes from its previous version the S20. The first change is the removal of the Gorilla Glass on the back. Many fans fear that without the glass the device will be weaker, and prone to damage. Time will tell how sturdy it is as buyers start their daily use. Another change is the back camera section. It has been contoured by a metal, that just brings a more sleek design out of the phone.

The new Samsung phone comes in an array of interesting new color selections. With the option of a matte finish, there are two colors: Phantom Silver and Phantom Black. For other finish options in the colors Phantom Navy, Phantom  Titanium, and Phantom Brown, you must head to the selections for this model. The last three will have other finishes that can be selected from the Samsung website.

The iPhone 12 uses their signature ceramic shield in the front and matte glass at the back, highly acclaimed by Apple fanatics as it adds strength to the device. The materials are sturdy, scratch-resistant, and a huge improvement from the versions prior to it.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max has four available colors Pacific Blue, Silver, Graphite, and Gold.

The phones have similar weight and size. The iPhone model is a bit smaller, but also lighter. So, it is easier to hold in when using the phone. The screen difference is given mainly by Samsung’s display. They continued to use the bezel-free screen, where the sides cascade over delivering a more immersive user experience.

Display

Samsung truly outdid itself with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The screen output quality is outstanding, and they are already famous for their amazing displays. While Samsung sports a much better pixel resolution and PPI density, Apple is well-known for maximizing its resources and delivering a seamlessly outstanding experience with seemingly lower hardware equipment. Both screens look fantastic and the difference is barely noticeable to the human eyes.

The Samsung camera packs a punch with its new specification and quality. However, the iPhone’s front and rear camera stay on top with some cool features, such as their new LiDAR depth-sensing technology.

The price of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is higher than the Pro Max. However, even while being more expensive, this Samsung Galaxy is cheaper than the previous year’s model, the S20 by about $200.

Performance

The Galaxy S21 uses the Snapdragon 888 with a maximum capacity of 16GM of RAM. Samsung fans have been greatly excited about the phone. It seemingly can swiftly run any game with their Octa-core CPU of up to 4×2.2 GHz Cortex.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, uses the native hardware with the A14 Bionic Chip. The phone also includes the next-generation Neural Engine.

The truth is not many people think of Apple products as gaming devices. Yet, behold the iPhone 12 Pro Max beats the outstanding benchmark scores of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra without breaking a sweat. Apple once again proves that the way they optimize and develop their hardware and software can defeat the most monstrous looking machines.

What is the best choice?

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is overall the best option if you are thinking of upgrading your device. It is cheaper by $100, and it was the absolute winner in the performance tests running on both phones. It is unbelievable to say that the iPhone 12 Pro Max is actually a better choice for playing your favorite games.

The Samsung phone showcases an unbelievable camera quality for both video and photos, but there is no one complaining about the iPhone’s devices camera quality. On top of that, Apple came up with some pretty cool features like their most inventive LiDAR choice. Not even the excellent camera would make the Samsung device  a better recommendation when facing the Pro Max.

Finally, there are some concerns referring to the strength of the new Samsung devices. Since the Gorilla Glass has been removed from the S21 Ultra, only time will tell if the new models are actually resilient. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, though, can be vouched for the months it has been used.

All in all, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has all the clues to be the best choice when compared with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
